What are the system requirements for SmartHR?

The following system requirements are necessary to use SmartHR.

No support is provided when using an operating system or browser that does not meet the system requirements.

PC system requirements

We recommend that personnel in charge use a PC to operate SmartHR (i.e., the administrator page).

Windows

Browser: Latest version of Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome

Mac

Browser: Latest version of Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome

System requirements for smartphones and tablet devices

iOS/iPad OS

Browser: Latest version of Safari

Android

Browser: Latest version of Google Chrome

How to check your browser version and update it

Refer to the following pages for checking and updating the version of each browser.

Support when the system requirements are not met

  • When using a browser that does not meet the system requirements, the message “The browser you are using is not supported because it does not meet the system requirements.” is displayed on the screen.

  • If the above message is displayed, please update your browser to the latest version.
  • When using a browser that does not meet the system requirements, some of the functions may not be available.
  • No support or fixes are provided for problems that occur as a result of accessing SmartHR from a browser that does not meet the system requirements.
  • No support is provided for the following even when the system requirements have been met.
    • Problems caused by the network environment or browser plug-ins
    • Problems caused by specific devices or hardware (such as printers and USB flash drives)
  • If you are using Windows 7 or earlier, or using decompression software that does not support UTF-8, the file name of the downloaded data may be garbled.

Operating system version

Please use an operating system listed in the system requirements. You do not need to use a specific operating system version as long as the latest version of your browser works correctly.

However, you may not be able to operate Excel or decompress ZIP files correctly on an operating system that is no longer supported.

No support is provided for problems that occur as a result of using software other than SmartHR.
